Teddy Gardner, M.Ed., PCC, WHE is a certified Executive Coach and Whole Health Educator whose expertise with mindfulness based practices is woven into all aspects of her business, Partnership-Works (partnership-works.com). She is an insightful coach who empowers others to embrace change as an ally for personal and professional development. With a background in rehabilitation counseling and over 10 years facilitating mindfulness-based practices, Teddy brings a diverse depth of experience to her work.
Teddy has worked in the corporate arena providing leadership training. Clients are: Academic staff, physicians, directors and managers, some of whom are employed with companies such as Puget Sound Energy and Nike. Teddy taught several coaching and business classes at Marylhurst University for seven years. She also was a facilitator for five years for a Mindfulness Based Wellness and Resiliency Program (MBWR) piloted for Oregon State Department of Corrections (DOC) Staff. This program is based on teachings from Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
Teddy worked for four years as a health coach in an internal medicine practice and helped launch the non-profit, Mindful Medicine (MM) (mindfulmedicinepdx.org). As their Retreat Coordinator and Program Director, she worked closely with the MM board and facilitated a monthly mindfulness practice group for providers. Teddy continues to offer classes and coaching that integrates mindfulness with embodiment practices. She is a certified Holden Qigong Teacher who is passionate about working with executives and healthcare providers for reducing stress and burnout and ultimately supporting well-being that is foundational to thriving as a leader.
